- Hey folks,
- You forgot one important thing. If you for once ask the end user or the
- customers to give you all of there manual documentation. Blank copies,
- then filled out portions and then have the samples plus the filled out
- copies fully explained. A good or even fair programmer could easily
- program what they need fast. Then after they get used to the program
- they can tell you what is wrong with the thing. Then you will be able to
- produce another program for what they need with a few features added in
- that would help there processing time and if done correctly reduce
- overall cost for that company.
-
- Let me give you a little story. For a great deal of time I have had to
- deal with the local professionial's that were the smart ones, right???
- When I was able to gain access to a programmer I was able to interface
- with them fast and explain in a very short time what was wrong with the
- program and what areas needed to be fixed. They were rapidly fixed.
- Going the other way through the old system the problem would never of
- gotten fixed. Try to remember that when and most importantly before you
- program. Call one of the company pucks that work there and make sure
- that you keep an open mind when you ask questions concerning the
- program. You might find out that you overall programming cost is reduced
- for both you and the customer.
-
- Sincerely,
